I'm also suffering from Hyperhydrosis since childhood. I'm 24 and from New Delhi INDIA. When I was young growing up I had only plantar, palmar and auxillar HH but now my whole body is suffering from this disease.

I'm afraid of going out in the sun bcoz I sweat from head to toe and the ugliest part is my face when my sweat starts to drip. I can't shake hands bcoz it stays wet everytime, can't work on pc coz it also gets wet.

My feet stink bcoz I sweat too much and my socks looks like i soaked it in the water, I feel very embarrassed using a local transport and walking down a street. It hurts when my friends and family members are not able to understand what kind of serious condition it is and this problem can have my life.

I want to get rid of it and need medication, if someone here from India, plz contact me and let me know about any treatment available to cure it.

I have suffered from HH for some years now since I was in elementary school. And while I have tried a variety of treatments, I have learned to live with it. Sure it can be embarassing but I find that when I forewarn people, who want to shake my hand, that it is sweaty, no one seems grossed out by it. If people do inquire about it, I explain the situtation and people don't seem to mind it. The man I am with now could care less and likes holding my hand. It is a very big relief to have found someone who likes me for me. And don't let this interfere with your confidence since you all are beautiful people.

Hi, I've been experiencing the same problem but the worst is my excessive foot sweating. I don't know which will work best to stop this. Its really embarrassing when I wear my school shoes without socks and having this uncomfortable feeling. Please help which treatment is the most effective.

HH is a terrible condition to have. It stopped me from graduating high because I didn't want to shake hands; because of the excessive hand and feet sweating I stepped down from a supervisor position. I'm currently thinking about surgery

Hi. I have severe facial and scalp hyperhydrosis and the earliest nickname I can remember is "sweathead".

I've read a lot of the messages here and definitely connect with many of the experiences shared. Interestingly, while serving in the military in both Alaska and North Dakota, I would perspire after eating spicy food, even at -20 F! Mostly though, I react almost instaneously to high heat and humidity with a fountain of perspiration that may soak me completey from head to foot.

Not a problem when exercising, working in the yard, etc. but social events are completely off limits. I'm fifty now, and have missed out on ALOT of fun.

I've read a lot of material, wouldn't consider surgery at all but have tried homeopathic remedies (the recommended remedy didn't work at all), acupuncture (which I totally believe in and use regularly - but seemed to backfire in regards to hyperhydrosis) and in an effort to try and correct the acupuncture effects tried the Steeping Herbal "Hushed Sea" Tea.

It works for me. I can't believe it. I've only used it a week or so, and seem to need to drink a cup in the morning and another in early evening to make optimize its affect.

I haven't fully explored how far this tea can take me, I've placed a lot of limits on myself and have many habits that are ingrained from about five or six years of age. But I can tell you, summer hibernation in my basement is on the way out.

I still perspire, but seemingly in a much more "normal" manner which is exactly what I want.

Will keep you posted!

hi guys ..I'm from Philippines...
I have had HH since i was grade 6 and it is the worst thing in my life!

When people talk or make fun of my sweating problem, it just makes it that much worse and now I'm so nervous when I see someone looking at me that I feel they are talking about my sweat. This make things that much worse and I start to sweat even more.

I don't know what to do, but wanted to share my experience. Thank you
